That's cool, and is about as efficient as anyone can make a commercial airplane, but just wait for the 787! Carbon fiber and titanium, extremely efficient on fuel, lower maintanance costs, quieter, smoother riding and way better looking! Kinda like comparing an old hardtail stumpjumper to a new carbon Nomad!

Boeing is a pretty cool place to work!

I've never understood why they put so much advertising on the outside of planes. Planes are in the air for most of the time they're in use, and the advertising is only visible when it's sitting at the gate. Then, only a few hundred people see it who happen to look at the plane as they wait for boarding.

If it's not flying or at the gate, it's probably sitting in hangar where only a few dozen people can see it.

You've never lived in Richmond have you? Your target audience is everyone living along Bridgeport in Richmond. They used to come in over my house and drown out everything. I had no problem reading the sides of planes.

Cool video!

I have always HATED working on 737's though. I don't know if it was the fact that I started working on the old -200's and that left a bad taste in my mouth even after I worked on the NG's or if it was the terrible E[HTML_REMOVED]E bay that I hated.

Nope. Not enough job security or $ for responsibility IMHO! I quit a year and a half ago, I dont miss the chemicals:drunk: or the constant threat of layoff.

I see you are in calgary, who do you work for?
