10 dead in a supermarket in Boulder, Colorado. In a refrain we all know by heart it was a white male asshole with an assault rifle. I get the argument in defense of assault rifles that they are no different than other guns with similar capabilities, but there is no doubt in my mind that these psychos feel empowered by the appearance of the weapon. Between the AR-15 and the tactical gear they feel like the killer they dream of being.

I went off the video when they dragged him out in cuffs this morning and Syrian or not, the guy is whiter than I am.
Anyway, he still appears to fit the bill. It sounds like he was lonely, mentally ill, mad at the world and decided to go on a rampage so he bought an assault rifle to go on a killing spree. That is the usual story with all these mass shootings.
...and just like that it’s whites vs non-whites.
Amazing how good we are at picking up the talking points we’re trained to instead of looking at the meat of the issue.
