Well, could not find the thread on books so lets have a fresh start.
Got a book about
The Group of Seven and Tom Thomson by David Silcox.
Looks really good. Quality reproductions and just the necessary info on the group. A great coffee table book if you dig landscape paintings or are a painter/sketcher/artist yourself.
Ego Is The Enemy by Ryan Holiday
That obe is pretty neat. If you dig philosophy or want a nice recharge for your own drive/goals, get this one.
Britannia by Simon Scarrow
A historical novel about the Romans in Britain almost two thousand years ago. A bit repetitive. Pulp fiction. If you like historical novels with blood and grit, try it.
American Gods by Neil Gaiman
That was one good read, seriously awesome and well written. Definitely a keeper.
Vagabond by T. Inoue
A manga series with really great artwork about Miyamoto Musashi, based on the novel about the Japanese kensei.
On my wishlist are The Underground Railroad and Homegoing, both deal with slavery in the US. But might wait until I feel emotionally "solid" enough. Life is quite a challenge at present.
What are you guys reading at the moment?
