I stalled at the halfway point of this. I think I'm 5-10 years too young for it. His pop culture ravings fall on my unappreciative ears.

I'm on page 800ish of 1000ish of

I like it. Some complain that it's just a long drugstore spy novel, and it may be. No obscure tech concepts, no life on other planets. Just lots of chasing, spying, shooting, and video game references.

I'm 26, so i could relate quite well to klostermans book. His commentaries on saved by the bell were especially true/hilarious.

OK, I'm 30 and couldn't.

Must not be my age then.

American Sniper, an autobiography by a U.S. Navy Seal sniper. Got really good reviews.

The reviews I read were not that positive. It seems that the tone of the book is militaristic and simplifying. I have not yet read it - am hooked on other books at the moment. And I do not want to start an argument here, just what I heard on the radio and read on the 'net.

Interesting. I heard the opposite. Mind you, the reviews I heard were from the shooting community. I did hear that his writing isn't as polished as others, but that's to be expected from a Navy SEAL. I imagine the stories are fairly interesting, especially if you participate in the sport of precision shooting. Otherwise it probably isn't your thing. I imagine the reviews you heard/read weren't from shooters, so that's understandable.

This one is the second Issac Bell story. It took place in the late 1800's/turn of the century, no dive watches there.
