i am looking to throw plates on my seadoo trailer for a trip to the island leaving this weekend.

through no fault of my own , insuring it is proving to be a bitch.
(imported from states 1 year ago never insured , papers need from orig guy who can't be found)

i would like to borrow your insurance papers and plate, am willing to pay a few bucks or beer. my trailer has no VIN so no risk of the C O P s busting me.

if you have an insured trailer with current papers and want to help a wigga out, holla

Insure it as a 'homebuilt' trailer.
It really is as simple as that with trailers:)

Go to autoplan, tell them "I just built this trailer and want to insure it" they will make you sign a document saying that you paid the taxes on the parts you used to build the trailer, ask you the GVW of the axles, and that is it.

We have a utility trailer with insurance and papers. I'll trade it straight up for the seadoo with no trailer
