I'm gonna YOLO a grand into AMC and GME on Monday when my deposit clears as that is the one that still has the highest volume of shorts on it.

Fortunately I'm working with a couple engineers that are right into is so I can get actual answers to my autistic questions I've had about investing. But yeah been waiting since Tuesday to participate and still don't have funds in my account. I doubt I see anything in time.
I'm thinking silver is a good place to park some money

I don't think they ever froze trading. From my ynderstanding Robinhood stopped trading because they ran out of cash to cover the flood of orders. They'll be allowing people to buy all the memestocks on Monday again apparently.

I don't think they ever froze trading. From my ynderstanding Robinhood stopped trading because they ran out of cash to cover the flood of orders. They'll be allowing people to buy all the memestocks on Monday again apparently.
Definitely has nothing to do with Robinhood being partly owned by Citadel who gave Melvin capital a couple billions of dollars cause cause they got called out on their shorts...

Yeah I've heard two different narratives as to why they put a stop to the orders. As a common pleb who knows nothing about stock trading i have no idea which one is the truth. Apparently they sold a bunch of peoples stocks at a dip though without their permission which seems shady as fuck.

What sort of tech is behind it? Its still a low intro price but that doesn't always matter.
Thether (and ergo theta i think) have Samsungs support as well as one or two others.
There isn't , the whole Dogecoin is a joke really. Reddit is talking about a mass buy to push the price up. It's only 5/6 cents. So buying a bunch isnt really a gamble. If it goes up to a dollar or something could be a good payout.

Either they had a liquidity issue which the CEO said they didn't, or they had a back door deal to halt buying the stock and only allowing people to sell, which the CEO also says they didnt.. so they're fucked either way.
Dogecoin is pump n dump. Make sure you sell before everyone else does.
As for GME, this is a whole different ball game. It's a mix of both short squeeze and Occupy Wall Street movement. Most of you think if you vote Party A you'll kill the economy whereas if you vote Party B we'll be having orgies to make aborted fetuses for dressing.
The thing is, last Thursday was an amazing day where we got to see our two parties mean shit and keel before their true masters. Could you ever envisage AOC and Trump Jr saying the same shit, let alone Cruz saying AOC is right in a tweet? Please, for fucks sake, stop tying your identity to a political party.

I just think when the name of the game itself is GameStop, that should be a good indicator to sit one out.
