Well I was working up at Highland Valley Copper in Logan Lake for a bit and somehow squeezed in time to take pictures. And the only real reason to take pictures ever is to put them on the internet right?

Yea its a big tow rig. There's some big flatbed trailers that hitch into the back which can be loaded up if say a Haul Truck breaks down somewhere in the mine.

It was originally designed to haul 2 D11R's at once, then tested it out and it held over 1500 tonnes… The fab shop is crazy, and mobile. Since they build them onsite.

Quarrys are really cool, quarrys when they are doing blasting are even cooler. I used to get to visit them as a kid when my dad did site visits.

Awesome pictures. The photos don't really capture the size of the Valley pit. I'm also surprised you have no pictures of the tailings 'pond'
