Or, when Gretzky scored his last career hatrick. It was against Vancouver and for one goal he dipsy-dooed around 2 defenceman, a forward and a goalie. When the puck went in the net there 4 Canucks laying on the ice and he had the empty net. The stadium cheered because even though it was a goal against, it was one of the most beautiful single efforts in hockey.

oh my fucking god! you were at that game too!!!!!!!! i think i was in grad 4 still when i went to van to see my fav team the new york rangers play canucks. i was going crazy when Gretzky got that hat trick. i was on tv at one point in that game. i was dancing with my shirt off and had rangers written on my chest. i would love to see the video tape of that whole game again!!!!! the final was 6-3 right?

damn near any saturday night game back in the 60's , all the kids would have been out playing pickup on the street in the afternoon with real sticks and balls instead of working a joy stick in front of the tube
