All the REALLY cool kids have BlackBooks anyways.
Hah. The only person I've seen with one so far is Bridges!!!, so I'm pretty sure your theory is extremely faulty.

I'm surprised. I'd have thought you'd want the biggest screen possible.

I have the midrange macbook, with 2GB ram upgrade, 80gb HD and it was the best purchase I've ever made. The extra ram was worth every penny. My friend has an un-upgraded blackbook and mine destroys his in performance, and I saved the extra whatever it cost just to have the black casing. one thing that some people don't consider in the mac vs. whatever debate is that the macbook are widescreen so although they don't "sound" like they're as big as other laptops the screen size is what I'd call perfect in terms of portability. and if oyu don't like it for watchign movies or whatever at home you can order 20.1 widescreens for pretty cheap these days.

while you're at it - compare your choice of laptop to the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.
I recall seeing George W. Bush in Time Magazine or something using a 17" Powerbook.
Not only that, but he also thinks he invented the iPod.
