Like Nat Baley, I'll back go way back because those concerts were just more memorable than most any other I've seen recently…. other than Tom Waits.

I Was in Ontario for high school and uni, smoked some hash and went to a lot of shows….. lol

by the time they hit the stage we were pretty much too bagged [HTML_REMOVED] too rocked out: Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Ice Cube [HTML_REMOVED] Ministry right when they were in their prime (start, middle, end you decide)….good times.

It's true…. there are a few who remember. I still have the ticket stub…. read it and weep. That was a lot of bank for a seat on the floor. lol

it was an awesome concert.

by no means was it a re-do of woodstock '69 and it is a shame they named it woodstock really.

but the shows were frikking awesome and it was a great lineup.

When Nirvana first appeared on SNL, they went from a somewhat cultish band to #1 within the next week. It was quite the transition in music - a milestone.

Pearl Jam, FNM, and STP appeared within the next few weeks.

Ha! $7 … those were the days. I remember paying 6.50 for some pretty awesome shows, tull, ELO, Sabbath. Now you can't in to a decent show for less than $100
