Deep Cove has a limited release Belgian extra pale ale on tap (and in bombers). Really been enjoying it lately.

Recommended beer stores in Metro Van that will have a good selection of craft brew bombers?
brewery creek on main is the standard. several other good ones; what area of the city is handy?

Brewery Creek is the best IMO, Legacy in Olympic village is also very good.

On the North Shore, the new Gull store at Park [HTML_REMOVED] Tilford has a huge selection. Spirits of Seymour at Parkgate is good too. I haven't been in to Toby's, but assume from its size that it has a decent selection.
I'm a bit surprised that so many large stores can profitably exist so close to each other. Another, good sized, private store will be opening on Dollarton beside Stong's market next year. I guess people don't stray too far from their usual commuting paths to buy booze.

i'm amazed at how many breweries can profitably exist in the gvrd. this map isn't even current, but gives an idea of the density. never underestimate peoples ability to consume good beer!

I work downtown Van., but live in North Delta so can commute through Vancouver (Eastside [HTML_REMOVED] Westside), Burnaby, New West, Richmond [HTML_REMOVED] Surrey on the way home (depending on the route).

firefly on cambie if you're heading in that direction. if you're heading out on hastings, high point (just before renfrew) is decent.

I was planning to head to Firefly, was just wondering about if there were others.
I didn't know about High Point, thanks for the tip.

Stuff tends to stick around a little longer at High Point. West Coast in Kerrisdale talks big game but I have yet to make it out there to verify. Granville (on Granville, unsurprisingly) has a pretty good selection too. Brewery Creek is the best.

yeah, perhaps the demographic here isn't quite as nerdy, but i always seem to find the limited releases last a bit longer here than at bc (where people line up minutes after new product is tweeted). shhhh!
Red Truck was getting hammered hard on Twitter today after hosting Harper for some kind of "secret" meeting this morning. Lots of "I'm never drinking your beer again!".
Phillips Snowcase 2015 has been released, $70 at BC Liquor stores.
Nordel had about a dozen in stock on Sunday.
