+1 on Megadestroyer after a year. Didn't like it that much fresh but brought a bottle home 2 yrs ago and it was awesome aged a year. Howe Sound is pretty much the only BC beer that makes it down here (Kokanee does not count as beer) and managed to find a couple megadestroyers a few months ago.

At 6 months my 1 bottle of Megadestoyer was better than fresh. I'm going to leave the other bottle for at least another 6 months.

From Howesound I find the Pothole Filler is a better stout. Problem is, it is really tough to come by.

So good to hear - I put a couple bottles away last year thinking that they would be great if they sat for a year.

Now I can't wait for the holidays to crack them open!

Anyone starting on their advent beer calendar today?

I have the Phillips case thanks to my wife; first one will be with dinner tonight.

I'm still drinking through all my left-over cans from the summer [HTML_REMOVED] fall road trips.

LOL, I discovered that last night when I went to put it in a bar fridge.

Ended up putting the first dozen bottles in paper wine bags then into the bar fridge.

Take the beer for the day out of the box in the morning, put it in the fridge, enjoy that evening.

One more thing to think of as I'm rushing out the door…

What happens if I forget? Major crisis coming home to warm beer.
(Ya I know, you are English and like warm beer.)

I prefer some beers not cold too.

now.

A Norwegian sour ale brewed with barley and raw wheat. Pressed sea buckthorn fruits for the brash sourness.

Is there such a thing as a good sour beer? I've only had a few and they all made me want to punch a nun.

I'd have to agree. Luckily it was the smallest bottle in the set.

Not bad though because the tartness was subtle.
