Agreed, even 2-3 months of age causes a huge fall-off for ISA's, to the point they're not worth buying.

I'm loving me some German wheat beers these days, Maisel's Weisse is incredible.

I have tried the hop therapy and bottle rocket ISA. I enjoyed them both. Good on the light spectrum of body and crisp but still with the hop punch. More of a jab than a cross though.

WTF, Over?

I have officially stopped fucking around when it comes to my beer storage.

They don't fool around here in Portland with 4 or 5 beer sample flights.

There was also a 15 beer option.

They also make sure all the little details are taken care of for patron comfort.

Also visited Ninkasi the other day, their tasting room and patio is pretty nice, and the beers I sampled were excellent.

Going to try and get to Hair Of The Dog tomorrow.

A new brewery opened in town last week. I went in Friday, and they aren't too bad. They started off pretty conservative, with a lager, a blonde, a pale ale, an IPA, and an amber that they are calling a red, which is my biggest pet peeve when it comes to beer, because I love a good Irish Red.

That's the problem with cities, they're refuges for the weak, the fish that didn't evolve.

I don't want to google this - sounds like a thing that NSMB will be better at.

Goose Island Sofie and Matilda has hit BC in a big way. It seems too good to be true, but it's true: there are TONS at the local government stores. Well over 2000 bottles of each in BC, and they are CHEAP: $7.95 for a 750mL.

This is the best beer that has ever hit GLS shelves.

Bourbon County is next on the shelves which will be good. The fact that it is owned by Inbev-AB, doesn't change it for me.

Found a good selection of Belgian and Belgian style beers at the Portland Costco.

I had the Rodenbach Grand Cru last night, and I hope I can find some here at home. It was very good, similar to, but not as strongly sour as, Driftwood's BOP series.

Agreed, it doesn't seem like Inbev-AB has influenced their process or product because it's still delicious.

BCBS will be a gong-show I'm sure but I'll participate for sure.

I don't really have a problem with large companies, just crap beer.
