We're more spoiled now with beer choices than we were 10 years ago. However I think we pay the most in BC than anywhere else in Canada for alcohol.

Rossputin, I will post photos from
Alberta next week. Craft beer is the same price at the beer stores. It seems to be canada wide prices.

We have more choices than 2 weeks ago!

I was trying for a while to keep up with all the new breweries opening, but I gave up. They're just popping up everywhere! It's an excellent problem to have.

Way back from the old school days of NSMB…

I can't believe brassneck ran out of changeling on me. Bartender even wrote it on my bat tag. Fuuuuu

Is there a Vancouver in Taiwan?! I had no idea!!

Cherry was good but not great, fruit was falling off. Raspberry is to die for.

Surprised to hear of a "meh" response on Brassneck, they are the most consistently good brewery in Vancouver I would say. Current lineup has some great ones - the IPA, stout, and rye saison are all very tasty.

Main St and Postmark are disappointing. 33 Acres and Bomber are only decent.

not a generalization; nothing in my bat was worth a growler fill - that day. but i'm a picky bastard. i have had a few great brews there, and nigel is awesome, so i still love the place.

I have had a couple off-beers there I guess too - I find the multi-weizen or whatever it's called pretty gross. Not every batch of the white IPA has been good too

Deep Cove is gearing up to convert their tasting room license to a lounge, with a patio as well.

I don't find their beers particularly interesting (I did like the recent coconut porter), but it will be convenient to have one of the locals open past 8PM.

Bridge needs to apply to have a patio built in front of their current place.

I am a much bigger fan of Bridge than Deep Cove.
