I had 5 near the end,got a pitcher and then bought 5 ciders. It was worth it. :)
Beer
Four winds had the longest lines. I would suspect they went through a lot of product. Yellow dog was the brewery i never heard of but had great beer. My "sleeper" choice was play dead IPA.
WTF, Over?
I loved the Fuggles and Warlock rye saison.

dear OSB,
I see you put out a summer "weizen" this year…good idea!
…but it was a bad idea to put the word apricot in tiny font beside the big script……and then make it taste like Vicks cough syrup.
Fuck You OSB.

Were you really surprised? I spent the night drinking homebrews from the local crew. 10x better.

When I was at the brewery they said that they make it in limited quantities, and it sells out pretty quick. Essentially you just have to know when it gonna come out and stockpile it if you love it!

it seems to come out every 3 months at the brewery. the week before VCBW they were doing max 2l fills at the tasting room. yum yum.
There are a couple of places that still have it around town in the private beer stores.

So Dageraad is a total win…
Anyone going to the Horseshoe Bay Craft Festival on the 21st??

Yep, seems like a good way to spend the first day of summer.
Anybody make it to Casks 4 a Cause today? Would have been there had the wife not been out of town all day.

I can't wait to try the Dageraad stuff. I'm trying to make "no" beer purchases until my cellar is under control, but making exceptions for the odd thing. In the past two weeks that's been Peche n Brett, La Folie, Juxtapose, and Belle Royale.
One of the brewers is a buddy of mine, but I've been away and haven't had a chance to try it. If it's as good as his homebrew though…
Made the trip all the way to Four Winds yesterday (OK, I was in the area getting the dog after the holiday) and it was closed. Gutted. Should have internetted. Bright side is a nice little top up from the States.
