Light tropical flavours, Summer Seasonal May-July

Bittered with Sorachi Ace Hops: Unique lemon and dill characteristics
Finish with Crystal Hops: Aroma: Mild, spicy and floral

so, I'd say Adam West tasted unique lemon and dill, and didn't smell much since it was brewed in July. He still got fucked up due to the 7% that was still present, and his significant other (who was drinking wine) put out just to get him to fall asleep and leave her alone.

I take it old green flash beers are a common thing. I've had 4 now, one was amazing the other 3 good but missing a real aroma.

I did get ahold of some Deschutes red chair nwpa, tasty stuff perfect after a day at the hill.

I had a good Cove N as well, but werent some of them flat because the bottle did not work with the N2? Something about the big bottle not working as well as a small one or widget loaded can. Not to slag them, just what an employee at a store told me.

I dunno about the bottled version. I had a glass out of the tap at the brewery a couple of Friday's ago.

When I bought the P49 nitro, the cashier at the liquor store commented that he found there was a noticeable difference in the body if you slowly poured it into a glass instead of doing the full inverted "hard" pour, as recommended by both P49 and Deep Cove to get the full effect of the N2.

For real… does anybody remember this piece of shit ploy to sell beer?

On a more positive end though, has anybody tried out the new Driftwood?

Interesting. I had a 650mL of the Cove nitro stout and it was flat out of the bottle. I wasn't sure if I poured it wrong or something, but maybe it was a problem with the bottle.

Way back from the old school days of NSMB…

^ The 2013 Cellar Dweller is an awesome triple IPA. Sweet honey and huge hops. It's nothing like a typical American barleywine nor like their previous Cellar Dwellers but I love it! I'm sure it will age fine but it's delicious now, and I usually find fresh American barleywines a bit harsh. I bought 4 but might pick up more, as they are disappearing quick.

Drank this stuff tonight.. bottled Dec 2012 but still boozy as heck for 10% ABV. Good though - it's aged with 40yo cognac soaked oak chips. I think I prefer bourbon influence but this was good.

last night Steve and I drank a Femme Fatale (probably moved into my top 5), La Roja, and then one of my Mad Bruin stash..

.. then we played Tetris, which i was dominating, till the winner-takes-all.

the current OCD didn't really wow me like i had hoped. wanted more hop [HTML_REMOVED] complexity (of some sort; yeah that's vague) i think. just lacking something. the alesmith old numbskull i had recently was pretty damn good though.

speaking of yummy, the bird of prey is just that. way too drinkable; this could get expensive fast. i really need to try brewing sours…

Yeah, all three beers were absolutely amazing. That Femme Fatale though, is so totally unique, 100% brett IPA. Need more!
