Today's an important day for barleywine drinkers - Driftwood's Old Cellar Dweller hit the shelves. I've got my four bottles for the year. No Barrel Dweller this year.

I didn't make it out last night and am out tonight… I think I know a spot though.

Found this today at the same shop I got the '10 Full Sail.

This place hopped on the craft beer bandwagon but its failure is a shitty location where its main customer base are homeless, junkies and other undesirables. The beer hasn't been selling aside from Cobra and Natty Light so they have been putting their old stock on sale 50% the last few months. Mikeller, Ommegang, Dieu de Ciel, Unibroue and all sorts of Belgians and other tasty craft brews. Including some today from The Bruery and Lost Abbey. Most of them aged a couple years now.

I have spent way too much money there but it is way too hard to resist! $6 for the Smoking Wood, btw.

If you're spending $6 on Bruery bottles, there's really no way you could be spending too much money. :drunk:

You guys on untappd?

PS Iniquity is awesome.

I am on untappd, as Ashley (ajstotts) kind of fun and neat to see where you can get rare beers.

I just had the Jai Alai IPA, from Cigar City. WOW, truly a unique IPA and really tasty. A bit like a Pliny the Elder with the malts, but totally it's own beer.

Some Christmas cheer for tonight and tomorrow.

Edit: Will update on Snowcase later, I fell way behind due to having a crappy cold last week and not being able to taste anything.

What are acceptable beers one can drink in the US? Will be in Florida for 10 days. Other then Budweiser and such.

I scored some of that Townsite Winter Beer the other night. Pretty potent stuff

My Shiny Penny has a bunch of sediment in it. Is that normal?

Why slag free swag?

Drank a Black Butte XXV tonight at family dinner, that was great. Glad I have more. Also managed to procure 4 bottles of Abyss today despite the madness of having been released Christmas Eve (and selling out many places in no time flat).

La Roja is great stuff

Abyss 2013 isn't on par with BB XXV, but maybe in a couple years it will be. Had a P49 With Love tonight too, that stuff is really good these days, as long as you like sweet.

Aside from the beer and associated paraphernalia on hand, I was also impressed by their cycling jerseys, which look pretty good.

And Santa delivered:
