Anyone else use CellarHQ? A friend was telling me I ought to use it, which reminded me that I did use it but hadn't updated in a long time. I updated my collection tonight. Take that, nerd-dom.

Huh, I really should do that. It's probably going to make me want to Cellar more beer though.

Totally besotted with Brassneck right now. Got their bitter, porter and golden ale to get me through the weekend.

it must be my lack of british blood, but i sampled all those last night and none of them compelled me enough to take home. i actually left with empty growlers (gasp). the first round (stout, aggressive, white ipa) were much more happymaking for me. to each his/her own, of course. i AM, however looking forward to grabbing some whisky chocolate stout from storm.

Haven't tried it. Previous vintages have won competitions, so it caught my curiosity (yay marketing!)

Ha! I had the exact same thought and the opposite conclusion, I think my British blood is what makes me love it. I have been dying to see more of those styles over here (especially the golden ales). Loved the PA and the WIPA too. I didn't get to try the RIS, that and the Pilsner are the only ones I have missed.

A friend bought a case in 2007 or whenever they first brewed it and it cellared amazingly well. Were still drinking them last year.

Just picked up some sours tonight…

The le terroir is really good, dry hopped, smells amazing.

and the skully barrel reminds me of the russian river dark sours like consecration.

jake has come through for me before, I fully suspect he is just trying to find all his clothes and finishing up breakfast

I do know the beer was awesome. Pier 1 or a home store on 4th for the chalice? Or you could order this from Christlan.

Look what I found today…fresh off the truck this afternoon. I bought 3, but I may go searching for more.

Black currant, oak aged (1 year) sour beer, at 9.4%
