Brassneck's new website went live today, it's really quite lovely. www.brassneck.ca

Postmark officially opens today too - not a very exciting brewery IMO but adds to the impressive list of East Van breweries with tasting rooms. I haven't even made it to Main St Brewing yet and there's another!

Despite being a short walk away, Craft isn't really worth bothering with IMO anyway - but yeah that's not great for business.

For sure! There were a couple on there I totally missed. I won't make excuses for myself.

There is still so much happening locally for breweries this year, it's insane. Powell St is moving out of their place and a new player moving in (while Powell goes to a bigger space), couple of breweries on Clarke to open, Yellow Dog, Steel [HTML_REMOVED] Oak… should be a good year! Doing a bike-tour of the local breweries is going to become a full weekend event soon.

I disagree, my wife and I go to the food and beer pairings they have ( next one is Tuesday with Parrell 49 ) We both really enjoy it, the food is awesome, and the beer reps and Head Chef have cool stories to tell.

If you are in to food and beer pairings Its well worth the $ and time.

^^^^^ i like it there too. I cant really speak of specific pairings, but if im gonna squawk my favorite beer variety and rotation with good menu food, my vote is Rogue wet bar.

WTF, Over?

Yup. Went down there tonight to have a flight and went back for a glass of their ESB. Delicious. Place was packed too…we counted 55 people at one point. Highly recommended.

That is so cool. I want to try the red pilsner, the smoked hef I had at VCBW has too much going on.

Personally I'm excited for Strange Fellows to open up. Emphasis on sours, hell yes. Also, like so many others, within walking distance of my place.
