You should be able to protect yourself. Body armor is the most passive form of
protection you can have. Not sure why you'd need it, not like Vancouver is too
bad yet, but…
If it does become as bad, then you'll have to rethink this law if regular non-criminals
want to protect themselves.
I think it's a waste of time, government needs to spend it doing something a bit
more productive.
The comment that getting rid of criminals "sense of protection" will slow them down
is crap. If you have the mentality to go on and shoot people in public, not having
armor isn't going to stop you. That's like saying we're going to stop bikers from
getting body armor because then they won't hit as big of jumps.
oh c'mon, you don't seriously believe that drivel do you? passive? the word body armour is definitely not…

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.
