Fucktard rednecks are just the worst. I prefer my camping of the hike in variety as of late. Hardly run into people and if you do they are like minded. Plus you get to all the cool spots

If you have to walk-in more than 5 minutes from where you can park your vehicle, that miraculously gets rid of 99.999% of the problem.

i see more and more of this as well. it's everywhere. i will say this though, rednecks sure like to have a good time outdoors, it's just that it's way different than the way i do and often incompatible! i'm going to the south Chilcotin next week would like to stay at some forest rec sites and i'm concernicus already what i'll run into or have to deal with a lot of quad folks and the like. i know this sounds radical but i don't even drink when i'm camping for the most part. unless there is a pub (tyax, etc) drinking just isn't part of that experience for me. and certainly not in the backcountry. Cdn heresy i know i know…

I've found that driving longer than 3 hours away from town usually clears up most of the douchery.

The problem is that I become the douche.

Threats on a CO over a campfire is just weak. Just pony up, and get a propane firepit if it is that important.

I suspect you were just drinking before noon.
