He was involved in a crash of a B-25 bomber at Boundary Bay during WW2 and was the sole survivor.

He could also skim over a sand bar with that jet boat of his.

I wasn't a die-hard, but it was cool that it was shot on the Coast.  I actually knew a couple of real beachcombers.  Seeing Bruno Gerrussi looking like shit driving an old Civic with one tire in the wrecker was super depressing though.

I loved Airwolf... I suspect it was not nearly as cool as I thought it was.

I remember being crushed that the A-Team was on the same night & time as my basketball practice, which meant I could never see it.

Airwolf was my favourite.  A mach one helicopter.  Can you imagine what a terrifying death that would be?

Bruno really liked his wine. I saw him crawling out of the Omega Greek restaurant down by the marina more then a few times.

He also had that cooking show Celebrity Cooks. Fun fact, Hogan's Heroes star Bob Crane starred in one episode which turned out to be his last TV appearance before he was murdered.

I remember being crushed that the A-Team was on the same night & time as my basketball practice, which meant I had to give up basketball.

That was similar to the weekday morning cartoons. Be it Scooby-Doo, transformers or he man, whichever the 8am show was always cut short as ya had to leave for school.. and it always seemed to be the good episodes too.

As a kid, I always thought airwolf should fly MacGyver around.

I always thought Airwolf and Knight Rider needed to team up. They just needed a show with a cool boat to rule land, sea and air.

While we are on the subject of our latch key lives in the '80s, has anyone watched Class Action Park?
