Well to be fair we were all rotten kids. The crash was usually caused by the guy on the back jumping off in one direction while shoving your elbow forward so you'd crash in the other direction. Or jumping off curbs while doubling, or the big rock on Wallace street etc etc.

Hahahaha - going off curbs was a such a dick move. Total sack buster.

I understand it has already been expressed that the OP doesnt want a trailer, but trailers do have many many other uses other than carting your kid around. You can fit alot of stuff into those things. Getting groceries suddenly becomes an excuse to ride your bike.

I used to have the behind the seat style back when. Good times at the WV sea wall, Ambleside epics. Don't do wheelies though. I remember one time a trucker pulled up beside me and pointed to my kid all concerned. He was asleep, head all sideways and slumped over. Poor guy probably thought he was dead.
