I usually fall asleep during 3 hour movies, but Avatar kept me awake. That is a feat unto itself.
Amazing movie! Gotta see it in 3d, the planet they created was unbelievable. Best movie of the year.

the 3D/CGI work made me feel like I was on acid at some parts…but then again I was really stoned.
solid flick, little to Pocahontas but nice.
This movie was visually stunning. I'm pretty critical of movies since for the most part I find most predictable and lackluster. While this was in some cases, you didnt care due to what you were seeing. I found myself at times, just smiling.
Highly recommended viewing in Imax 3D while you can.

I'm convinced Avatar is the best movie ever made. Disagree all you want, but there was so many subtle themes and metaphors lying beneath the amazing CGI and action that it really is something more than just technological wonder.

Not so subtle underlying themes, corporate greedy bastards with no spiritual understanding of the living planet rape and pillage indigenous people for their land after consuming earth …..planet fights back and rids festering moronic parasites and restoring perfect balance.
And ya Fern Gully X 100, but still the most amazing thing i have ever seen……3D Do it!
