Are you currently happy with your cell provider?

I was with Telus for 10 years, asked them for a deal to renew with them, they told me to fuck off so I went to Rogers.

I have basically the same plan I had with Telus for $15/mth less. Oh ya and none of Telus' bullshit free evenings starting @ 9pm unless you pay an extra $10 month. Rogers starts @ 6pm, wow like in the evening.

Service is no better or worse, but the bill is smaller. That's all that I care about.

My BB is great. I don't have a data plan, and just use it for email and texting. They have a plan where you don't get date. I've got Wifi anyway. I'm running the Bold, and would like to get a Curve 8900.

Anyway, I like that Rogers has SIM cards. I used my Canadian phone in China for bit. It makes phones more versatile.

I like my phone plans and all with fido but customer service is so shitty. People arent so friendly, I bitched at one of them when they called.

I can't bring myself to sign a 2-3 year contract here just to get a decent phone for a bit less, I was used to having 1 year contract with good quality phone for free back in the UK. I'll stick with my fido pay as you go for now and use it as little as possible.

I lost my cellphone shortly after retirement which I figured was a sign from the god of work …to chill out

the GF has since given me her spare cellphone ,feeds me ,sleeps with me,for some unfathomable reason thinks I am great … so my cell provider gets top marks

and the cheapest telus pay n talk is only $11.95 a month

Yeah, who'd have seen that coming? I mean technology usually gets slower/more expensive and favours early adopters. This is highly unusual. Something should be done.

…Solo has been the most amazing cell company to deal with. Had I not chose to get an iPhone I would resign my contract without a thought. Only people that sent ME money even after I canceled my contract early. A+. After 2 months of Rogers, I'm already itchin to get out.

How is it possible that no one else is carrying the iPhone? Details?

Nowadays, people complain a heck of a lot. My first "plan" was $45 a month with no minutes. The phone was a brick - like the one in Jdot's picture. The talk time was maybe 45 minutes, and standby time was at most 12 hours. The battery was NiCad, so it needed professional refreshing every few months. Dropped calls were the norm, and coverage was really poor outside of the city.

Today you can get an EPP plan, pay $17.50 a month for 200 minutes plus free evening and weekends, get a free phone that'll standby for a week and have hours of talk time, and it'll work along in remote places like Sooke.

I've been with the same provider for 18 years. A couple times they've been a real pain when they've introduced new technologies, but overall the service delivered has been consistent.

never heard of this.

It's only available on the GSM network. Bell, Telus, Solo, Virgin, and a few others are using the CDMA network.

There is no answer in the poll to fit me: my carrier sucks monkey nuts but my wife works for them so we get full plans with unlimited data and text for forty bucks a month.

My favourite service was with Vodafone Japan, now Softbank. They had lots of free, awesome phones for me to watch porn on. I could also pay for my food easily

Also, Rogers and AT[HTML_REMOVED]T are in cohoots. They probably paid a big bribe for the rights.
