Hmm. Interested in how you like it. Might have an opportunity to go to invermere in the spring.
Yeah not a hot time to be in mining right now. Looks like copper prices have leveled off and even gone up a touch lately so thats promising. Taseko has hedged prices until summer so gives them some buffer zone for a bit. Im a Journeyman HD mech though, which keeps me pretty safe for now!
Sucks. We're shutting the doors at the end of the month. Our hourly guys were done Jan 31st. I'm loading the last few railcars with con, writing shutdown / startup procedures, and then I'm out of here.
I see Cu was up around $2.60 today. Oil is back over $50. Maybe we've seen the bottom.
That's the problem with cities, they're refuges for the weak, the fish that didn't evolve.
I don't want to google this - sounds like a thing that NSMB will be better at.

Where are you at? Tumbler Ridge?
is going big on a bike the only way to get you stoked on the sport? what happened to riding with your bros, travelling, and riding unique places, to get people stoked on riding?
fines are useless. there needs to be more punches to the throat.
Always loved the Fernie/Sparwood area, Strahan's pictures just made me love it more.
Being cheap is OK. Being a clueless sanctimonious condescending douchebag is just Vlad's MO.

"Following the news that the mine would close, Revetts stock prices dropped Tuesday from 74 cents a share to 44 cents, the lowest they have ever been. In 2011 the companys stock was worth nearly $6 a share."
ouch
We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

so will you still be an American wanabe or will you be coming home to Canada?

Yea those pics make a guy want to move there. Good pics do make any place seem desirable though. Maybe I'll stay here :)

Not sure. I've been looking in both countries.

Makes me sad. I think I fished twice during the entire time I lived in Comox. Wasted opportunity.
Fernie is on the short list (along with Comox and Squamish) for when I'm done with the military though.

WTF is wrong with your skis?
