Little info on Muni's - most often they are standing up, so the shock goes into their legs, not their balls.
And they often have an inflated inner tube cushioning their seat with a cover over it.

There's a guy who commutes to UBC on a unicycle. I've seen him a couple times, but maybe he just brings it out for Bike to Work Week and that kind of thing.

I think the hatred towards unicycles is due to the fact that they are actually 1-wheeled FIXIES.
