Another Where to eat in "ALL" of Vancouver
La Regalade in West Van. The food is awesome and the portion sizes are big enough that you'll need to spend another month in boot camp.
Way back from the old school days of NSMB…
La Quercia (4th and Alma) and don't bother with the menu. Do the "alla famiglia" and tell them no seafood. You will not be disappointed, unless you planned on being able to comfortably move afterwards.
Dona cata on Victoria st. Best Mexican in Vancouver. I know because the sign on the Door says real Mexican food by real Mexicans. Their selection of salsa is to die for and they're cheap. I've sat down there and had a steak taco with a mariachi band playing for about $10 with good tip and tax.
Pear Tree.
1) Le Faux Bourgeois @ Fraser and Kingsway
Both good, but Pear Tree you need to book a res at least a week in advance. Faux Bourgeois at least two weeks.

When many people suffer from a delusion, it is called religion.
Refuel on fourth is a standout. they take red meat very seriously.
Vij's off granville makes indian fine dining.
If downtown for desert: Bella Gellateria in the pacific rim fairmont
Some actually suggested the fucking Sandbar? That place is a shithole.
I thought the food at the Pear Tree was excellent (although it was years ago) but the portions were very small. I guess the trick is to order lots of appies, main course and dessert too!
not what you're looking for, but harvest deli just off broadway and macdonald is fucking delicious and cheap for sandwiches and breakfast
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

though the menu is significantly smaller, i think la taqueria has them beat. best yvr tacos anyways.
Bin 941(Tapas)
a favourite for years. great for a date - funky intimate space and fantastic small sharing plates
Happy meals ftw
Pastor of Muppets
Great suggestions
Went to
Labelle Auberge In Ladner..
had the 7 Course meal.. and Wow.. AMAZING. Def will go again.. The chef even came out to see how the food was and if everything was "to the highest degree"

2) Cafeteria @ Main and 11th
I've heard this is good. Haven't been yet.
I live around the corner from this spot and still have never been. I always look at the menu though and it definitely looks good. Menu changes daily-ish. Grub is similar.. typically only 4-5 things on the menu, but enough variety for the fussy eaters.
