I've been down here for the last year. There is a race problem here.
That said, this latest incident is complicated as Switch said. The guy was very similar in age and race to the suspects, and apparently didn't drop his weapon when challenged by the cops.

I'm not sure either since 30 officers have died in the line of duty in 2015, not including illness, vs 412 citizens killed by police in 2015 so far… That's more than 13 citizen deaths per officer death…
