I'm a reasonable person. Grown up, fairly responsible, level headed. Very open minded, not racist or sexist or anything. Yet I can hide it no longer. One group of people makes me want to turn up my slayer and start being a serious prick:

Emo kids

I see them walking around everywhere here, and I know I shouldn't care. But I can't help it, they enrage me, I can't even be nice to them. I don't even care if they are nicer than jesus and help old ladies across the street. They have to go. Everything about them sucks.

I agree, what the hell do they have to complain about, living in a first world country and all? It seems kind of self-centered and pathetic.

No man it's completely different. The whole hippie ideal, while it totally fizzled out cause really hippies can't get anything done, at least they had rallies, and protests against some real issues of the time. The whole emo thing is completely self centered and provides absolutely nothing in any form at all. It has nothing to do with music or any kind of ideals, and everything to do with image

Being an "emo" is the same as being a goth or a metalhead or a punk or whatever, little "counterculture" (although that can be argued) groups for people who feel like they dont belong.

Atleast emo's are quiet. I know some emo's who have had f'ed up lives, but it IS the middle class kids who have almost nothing wrong with thier lives. For them it's just a fashion statment.
