politics [HTML_REMOVED] religion killed NBR. Oddly enough, the same two subjects that kill most social gatherings.

Intolerance of religion?? Where is Wayne when you need him? He used to go all kinds of apeshit of religious posts.

NBR evolves but I have liked how there is a wide variety of topics and opinions and most of the people are pretty well informed (I count you in that group Gran Torino… despite your need for a sky wizard). It is also a managable number of regulars so you get to know them. Plus of course a decent chance of meeting IRL.

It was more fun in the past though. Gooch's new member questionnaires, Post of the Year awards, Plane on a conveyor… that sort of thing. I blame the economy.

When one person suffers from a delusion, it is called insanity.

When many people suffer from a delusion, it is called religion.

SO Christians don't get a pass here or anywhere in life and playing that card isnt gona get you anything not from me anyway, I still wouldn't do business with a christian unless there was a contract being a christian means zero when $$$ is on gthe line … A christian is just another human with a cross to bear of his own choosing

I used to post abit in nbr several years ago but life took a few turns that I wasn't prepared for. Now that I'm back on track I've found my way back here.
I quite enjoy the banter here. I don't take anything personally and use opposing views to question my own outlook.

All propaganda has to be popular and has to accommodate itself to the comprehension of the least intelligent of those whom it seeks to reach.

buddy.. 'nough with the Diarrhea from the mouth. The bible is the Handbook on how to live a life without sin. How to benefit others, how to raise kids and show respect to your elders. To give to the poor without needing anything in return, to help those who need help, etc, etc, etc .. and of course, to accept Jesus Christ into our lives.

where do you get the idea that it's a resource for all the bad things in this world? I get the idea that you worked with a christian, who switched churches, and had a complaining wife.. and now you view Christians based on your two person experience there..?? That's a little short sided.

don't want to turn this into a religious thread but, defending his name is something I enjoy doing..

I'm happy to get outside and enjoy nature while I can, but I fear for the future of humanity
