An "any good new music" thread

Seems like most people on here listen to stuff that differs from me. But if you like Canadian Indie I have been getting a tonnes of play out of the CBC radio 3 podcast. They do a top 30 of songs you would never hear on the radio.

Also Ire Works by Dillinger Escape Plan is insanely awsome. The Ills of Modern Man by Despised Icon is great.

Yeah! Dillinger is rad, their old drummer is now drumming for coheed and cambria. Their new cd is also pretty good.

I'm still hooked on Matthew Good's newest release, Hospital Husic. It's great.

I've also been listening to Comeback Kid. I saw them when they toured in support for Rise Against. check em out.

I second that. No matter what style you're into, listen to this podcast and you'll never be hard up for new music.

you should try mogway if you like epic instrumental, as well as Explosions in the sky and obviously Hans Zimmer.

The Hold Steady - all their albums are great but Boys and Girls in America is my favorite.

sAFETY, Universe, Smoochy [HTML_REMOVED] lukkk all have great recommendations. I'd also throw in Aesop rock 'none Shall Pass'.

Silversun Pickups, Shout Out Louds, LCD soundsystem (Sound of Silver) , Rodrigo y Gabriela have all put out killer albums in '07.

I really liked Groove Armada's Soundboy Rock this year, also LCD Soundsystem's Sound of Silver.
