i was watching the news tonight and a reporter went around the streets of america asking 'who is going to war with america' and they were saying the british, and other countries, but hardly anyone said australia! is it just that americans are stupid or do most ppl actually not kno that we are helping out?:rolleyes: :rolleyes:

in 24 hours australia will be in a state of war and travel overseas is highly not recomended

i think aus should help tho, coz they would help us (no matter how dumb they are:P) if we were in war. if us didnt help us, we would be……………………fukd? well depending who we were fightin. we are 'friends' after all.

as if america would help us they would make up an excuse… maybe money or something but not troops and all that kinda shit

the only conflicts australia has ever been involved in is becasue weve been lead by aniother country

the media can be decieving

there was bali bombing and apparently they somehow linked it back to alquidea someones brothers uncles neices nephews bestmates second cousin twice removed had once seen a lower ranking al quidea guy in the street so meh its automatically that osama guy

weve got an american exchange student at schol and it suprses me ow closed minded she is to the whole situation… sjhe just wont take in anyone elses point of view

As a general rule, American knowledge stops at it's borders. There are exceptions of course, but the US pedagogy is incredibly nationalized, and their media does very little in the way of international converage unless they're at war with someone.
