whenever i go stateside i fill the trunk with amazing brews that are tragically unavailable up here. i'm seriously jealous of the staggering array of easily accessible micros south of the border. the average gas station seems better stocked than most liquor stores up here. here's a selection of burly bombers:
from left to right:
great divide yeti imperial stout
great divide hercules double ipa
stone ruination ipa (100+ ibu's)
stone 12th anniversary '08 bitter chocolate oatmeal stout
stone imperial russian stout '08
laughing dog alpha dog imperial ipa - great little brewery in sandpoint, id.
deschutes red chair ipa (yes ape, your name is one this one)
full sail imperial porter brewmaster reserve 2008 (aged in bourbon barrels for 10 months)
deschutes abyss 2007 imperial stout (bourbon barrel aged) - had this one last year, and it was the best stout i've ever tasted. found the same vintage at my favorite middle of nowhere (northern idaho) roadside bistro; stoked to see how it fares after another year of aging.
laughing dog devil dog imperial ipa
yum!
those beers look awesome. stout is my favorite kind of beer.
