I for one respect a man who is willing to own up to his mistakes (or Misteaks). Even though the internet lawyer in me hates that sentencings pay so much less than trials.

Good for him.. hope he got something out of this. Mistakes can be the easiest way to really learn.

Too bad he only owned up to his mistakes after he got called out as being an accomplice. Even then he said he was just there and got caught up in the moment and that he had nothing to do with flipping the truck. That is until further evidence surfaced clearly showing his dirty hands all over the truck as it was flipped.

A real man would have been downtown the next morning helping clean up the mess he helped create, and then march himself down to the police station to turn himself in. Instead Alex tried to lay low in his protected little world of Whistler hoping the smoke would clear before someone called him out.

I've seen him up in Whistler (don't know him but recognized him). I believe he now leads a non public life. He still shreds pretty hard.

He has definitely lost more than most of the rioters, plead guilty, and accepted the punishment.
