What an odd coincidence. me and the guys were discussing this just last night and the first thing I saw when I turned on the TV tonight was mythbusters. Turns out the plane will take off, just as most of us though.=/
I'm happy to get outside and enjoy nature while I can, but I fear for the future of humanity
will take off!

plane stays on the ground, conveyor belt lifts off !
the conveyor belt will move the same direction the plane is travelling in..
Ha Ha! Made you look.
lol
i spat my coffee out when I saw that.
Thanks, now I have to clean my computer screen.

I saw the Mythbusters video and yes the plane did take off. However, I notice a comment on one of the related youtube videos which left me thinking:
"If a plane does take of on a conveyor, dont you think other armies would've used it for their planes"
Think about it. If it really works, why the hell do we have such massive airports then. I mean the conveyor concept has been around for centuries.

they didn't/couldn't test it per the question. of course it took off from a conveyor belt, the wheels just spin twice as fast

It was the one with the yellow airplane and the toy truck pulling a tarp (their conveyor). The pilot was also surpirsed as he wasnt expecting to take off. Maybe I missed something :???:

all investing is is a type of arbitrage, and thats not gambling. theres an element of risk and potential of profit involved, but those are broad and dont qualify somthing as gambling.
most Christians I know, myself included, would say that science is the way through which we learn about everything that God has created, but we learn at the pace which he sets for us.
