Remember when everyone got all outraged about the Whistler sled dogs killed? How so many would have adopted them if they knew they where looking for a home?
Well, step right up, the company has shut down and 86 dogs are needing homes.

pretty sure I know lots of people who have actually adopted former sled dogs that would totally disagree with you.
WAG has taken over the kennel and they are all famailiar with socializing animals. They are getting used to the dogs and are making sure they will be suitable for homes soon. It may take time but they will get it done. Contact WAG for your new best friend. They need homes quick.

I think the reason people were outraged because the dogs were killed with a shovel (or something like that), and not humanely euthanized.

Although, even if they had been humanely euthanized there likely would have been some outrage.
