It's probably still there.

well, if you haven't closed the folder window yet, I would suggest the ol' Ctrl+Z

failing that… perhaps you should invest in a very thick cup for your nuts.

There's definitely ways of recovering data that's been deleted, but I believe that it's beyond the scope of normal computer users. Good luck with that…..

I could probably get it back for you but it will involve you bringing your hardrive along with a case of Heineken to my residence.

it is possible, the files are not removed, just the entry in the master file table, it is possible to edit the MFT and get the files back, but it is not for the weak of heart, screw up the MFT and you can kiss your whole filesystem goodbye.

There are also utilities out there that may help.

some free, some cost money, I've never tried any, been lucky so far I guess.

Good luck.

PS. if it doesn't work, buy her some flowers and apologise, hell you might want to buy her some flowers even if it does work.

there used to be a windows trick requiring you to go through the command prompt and type in a view all command of some sort - if you can find that you can get to a "recycled" folder with all the items you have deleted from the recycle bin and can save from there - but i don't remember the dos command…. i found it on google a few years back - it's probably still out there

Being an agoraphobic adrenaline junkie would be pretty convenient, because you could get your rush from just going to the store to get some milk instead of having to jump off a mountain or out of an airplane.

they also call me "balloon"
