Wow. There was an article in the WSJ just this morning about how Boeing is starting to dial back production of 747s.

apparently Taliban claimed responsibility immediately but officials quickly discounted that claim. All 7 on board died, civilian cargo plane.

They said it was today but the video is clearly timestamped for earlier this year.

Being an agoraphobic adrenaline junkie would be pretty convenient, because you could get your rush from just going to the store to get some milk instead of having to jump off a mountain or out of an airplane.

they also call me "balloon"

Extreme nose up attitude on a (possibly fully fuelled plane)-not good. Elevator control loss possibly, who knows? Hard to tell from the camera angle, but it looks like almost no airspeed at the end.

Would've sucked to be in that plane. I'm sure they did all they could to save it. Poor bastards.

Those of you who know your planes, or pretend to know your planes.

Is this pilot error? Engine failure? Too much cargo at the back of the plane? (kidding)

Extreme nose up attitude .

Necessitated by the need to climb steeply out of range of enemy fire once clear of the airfield would be my guess.

Freedom of contract. We sell them guns that kill them; they sell us drugs that kill us.
