We[HTML_REMOVED]#8217;ve got this from three independent sources close to Apple: expect a large screen iPod touch device to be released in the Fall of [HTML_REMOVED]#8216;09, with a 7 or 9 inch screen. Prototypes have been seen and handled by one of our sources, and Apple is talking to OEMs in Asia now about mass production.
I think transporting the thing would be tough. An iPod bigger than a CD Case? What would its primary use be? Maybe long car trips?

i have a laptop.
and it cost alot less….
the move to larger screens might be apples way to move into the expanding netbook market. maybe it wont be just a larger ipod touch, maybe they will encompass some more software such as word processing and other mac things. it could just be like a touch laptop, a tablet netbook.
