4x4 owners.

What kind of gas mileage are you getting?

I'm getting 20 at the moment… and wondering if this is good or bad.

To clarify 20 mpg @ 110km/h this morning

Truck weighs roughly 7,000 pounds on the road.

I have a Dodge3500 diesel and get around 21 to 22 mpg.

I get 18mpg staying within the ferries and the shore mtns, commuting to work, getting caught in traffic, doing 120 as often as I can on the highways, and shuttling a few times a week.

3.2L DOHC with a slushbox and a 5500lb vehicle.

Wow…the diesel makes a huge difference mileage wise.

18 usually. 21 on the highway

1992 Dodge 250 4x4 extra cab diesel. Gets a little over 20mpg.

I make 15/16 in the city, at best 20 on highway if I drive slow if I drive fast up the kokahala highway I do like 10.Pretty bad overall.

No one beleives me, I rarely get the rev's above 2500rpm and the thing cruises at like 1800rpm on the hwy, it has no power so I don't race it around like its fast or something, the only time it gets really bad mileage is over the Malahat because with stock gears its not very hill friendly.

the toyota-I dunno, I never get to drive the damn thing.
7.3L diesel F250 5spd with OD fifth, stockish tires….I pay about $120 to fill both tanks, and get about 8-900km on that. I drive it pretty hard, and carry a good amount of building materials in it most days. Ride's like a little red wagon too until it's got 700lbs or so in the back.

I get great gas mileage….because I ride to work. When I actually do drive my Xterra not so great.

I'm not too sure in my Bronco….6 inch lift, 35's, stock gears, big engine, and a heavy foot. I know it takes close to a quarter tank to drive to Ukee (about 30k). I'm guessing the mpg is in the basement.
It's my DD right now too and it's costing me an arm and a leg at the pumps.
