Women's big air qualies were pretty impressed, double cork 10, double cork 9, bunch of dub underflips, switch back 9 etc. And the ladies are landing pretty deep, close to where the dudes are. On the men's side, McMorris has a decent chance especially with Markus Kleveland not making it through, that dude can throw legit looking quads.

How smooth is the landing?
Watching the women play hockey is like they are skating in wet cement compared to the men. Canada has gotta stop taking dumb penalties or they're done.
Thread killer
When there is a woman's CAN vs USA game, who typically sets the ratio of good calls the USA gets? Is it the IOC or the ref's themselves?
Most of the calls against Canada were legit. Some missed calls on the US but Canada also got away with blatant penalties later in OT. Canada had a PP to close out OT and failed... they were massively outplayed in the 3rd/OT and did not deserve to win. Sucks but that's how I see it.
Anna Gasser clutching inaugural women's big air with that back 10 double on her final jump was sick... stomped it hard.
Was hoping Vonn would go out with a win or medal on the combined...
Yeah we were outplayed, the penalty against the USA at the end was a bit of a dive so it all evens out.
Congrats the the States, they played hard and wanted it more.

Yup. I watched the last half of the game and the overtime and the Americans played a much better game. So much so that I think the score flattered the Canadian women tbh. My impression is that the US team also has better coaching, the Canadians were making way too many little mistakes and of course the big one that ultimately cost them the game.
Creepy though the yanks had all male coaching staff. There isn't enough women ex-hockey players with coaching talent? Too bad. Oughta' be an Olympic rule women coach women.
Boy I just don't like the way Willy coaches. Guy makes me crazy.
Dumb hit by Bruyle. Playing like that is deserving of a loss.

For that alone they deserve lose entire tournament.
In fact, there's so little parity in women's hockey that when they get to the quarter finals, the yanks and canucks should play for bronze and the other two for gold/silver.

Ya, great idea! Get some chick in there that doesn't know what she's doing. They should pick the best people for the job, regardless of gender.
You think women are intellectually inferior then?
