I see what you are saying but I guess it's the lack of vibe that is so obvious. When you bid for an Olympics and can't even fill the seats that's pretty lame. what's the point? To showcase the shitty venues? To show that Peyongchang is a half ass winter resort?
Would have been way better if the German or French bids got the games. At least people there would give a shit about the events.

Canada is killing it in the medals. No one was even close to Sharpe in the half pipe today. Surprisingly, the curlers aren't doing too well.

As much as 2 gold medals in curling would be great, kind of nice to see us not walk away with it this time round. Great show by all the Canadian athletes, they have done their nation proud.

This. I don't count her the same as when the dudes from African countries take 3x as long to ski the slalom/GS course. This dumb fuck has access to world class training facilities and has made zero progress in YEARS and is not a legit Hungarian. Glad she is getting massive backlash on social media and her ability to claim "Olympian" on her resume will be tainted.

Skier cross was insane. I really thought Drury was the fastest in the prelim rounds, it's a shame he didn't medal.
Del Bosco came up short but went out like a rock star. That was an insane crash, hope he heals up OK.
Only the Canadian team would have Surrey dinner jackets as a uni.... nice touch.

That was some of the best shit the Olympics has offered up IMO. The pipe events have been good but I can't stand the commentators saying amplitude all the time, it's painful. Big air should be good, maybe they will get big amplitude.....
