Big predictions for Canada's medal haul. I have read as high as 33 medals predicted, but some others say around 30. I guess some of that depends on how many Russians are allowed in. I've been watching some pre-olympics competitions (and some from the past) & what impresses me is how members of different countries help each other out. Too bad that cannot translate to how the world runs. Further evidence that sport can bring people from all walks of life together. Go Canada!
2018 Pyeongchang Olympics thread.
Is PingPongChang in North or South Korea?
It's in Korea. This north/south shit is an artificial construct created by the yankee imperialists.
I'm lazy. How should I go about watching this from Mexico??
CBC website + TunnelBear??

If you have to ask, you need to do some reading and get informed. Oh and also......racism much?

It's no doubt a disparaging comment, but to call it racism is a bit of a stretch. IMO that is indicative a major problem is social politics these days - people are way to eager to scream out the word racism in an effort to shut down dialogue. It's definitely warranted in some cases, but the word racism and racist gets tossed around way to liberally these days and the danger to that is it dilutes the meaning of the word.
There is supposed to be done 4K coverage shown on cable TV. Looking forward to seeing that.
I'm guessing that no NHLers will make the hockey a bit more exciting.
Hope the weather and the snow is good.

There has been some interesting debate on tsn 1040 whether the ockey will be better or not. Overall I don't think the quality of the hockey will be as good, but the competition may be better due to more parity.

I thought it was anti-semite.
I think the hockey medals will be up for grabs for any team. No telling what can happen, but as always we'll have the target on our backs.
What's happening with streaming in Canada this time around? I've been able to watch for free via CBC/CTV website streams all the way back to summer 2008 Beijing I think... interested in hockey, all the ski racing and pipe/slopestyle.
Edit: looked it up, CBC streaming. Hoping for 4K high bitrate.

Word son. Word.
I needs to start the j-yoga-ing so I can grab a board. Fuck I’m fat and inflexible.
Looks like just snowboard for big air not skiing this time around? I like that all the ski racing/slopestyle/pipe events and gold medal hockey game start between 5 and 8pm PST, will be easy viewing.
