If every race was like that I'd be getting up to watch each and every one.  So fucking good in so many ways.

Hamilton is a fucking beast.

He had a new engine in the fastest car on the grid, he should do well. But I guess that doesn't explain Bottas shitting the bed frequently.

I think Bottas just doesn't give a shit any more. His entire time at Merc playing second to Ham, and only three more races and he's out.

Bottas was just a guest on the Beyond the Grid podcast, which is always a good listen but I thought his interview was interesting. He's either incredibly misunderstood (and doesn't seem to care that much) or one of the best at hiding his true self in an interview. I doubt it's the latter. Always had mixed feelings about him but came away with more respect for sure. Hard to deny he has one of the worst/hardest jobs in F1 as Lewis' teammate. Will be interesting to see how George does in that seat next year - not to mention how Bottas and Alfa Romeo make out.

The list is long of drivers who were wingmen / played second fiddle. Massa & Barrichello with Schumi, Webber with Vettel etc. It's a hard job. Although the 2 drivers are in the same car, there is no doubt the number 1 driver gets the best of everything.

Up to now, I've been watching F1 on UK TV via VPN (Channel 4's coverage is free-to-air). Problem is, it isn't live

What options are there to watch live over here (BC)? I don't have a cable package but would consider signing up for a daily/24hr coverage for the last few races or the season...

Stoked for Alonso to get that podium. He deserved his driver of the day award. The Qatar circuit looks to be tough on tires.

Yup, but it was right on the edge and had the look of an accident waiting to happen!

Guess Verstappen was shaken by Mercs speed and took too many risks...

I'm happy with the result 👍

No word yet on whether his gearbox sustained any damage.
