Please see title of thread. This is an F1 thread, not an amateur hour thread. Feel free to create an Indy car or F3 thread for and about drivers who have not yet made or cannot make it into F1. That being said, I am glad she is (relatively) okay.

Just a little spice for a stale thread.

I don't believe it. Reports coming in that race director Charlie Whiting has died.

Mercedes is really fast, again.

Was hoping that would not be the case & we would have an exciting season. Even though I don't like Lewis, I gotta hand it to him for making the most when he has the best car.

So glad Leclerc won a race. He has shown much promise.

Somewhat surprised Mercedes signed Bottas for another year. I thought they would have signed Ocon, who is going to Renault.

Top 3 drivers right now; Max, Lewis & Leclerc.

Happy Leclerc won also. Happy to see something other than merc out in front. Happy that he beat Vettel....

Albon had a good first race with REdbull also. Nothing fancy but quietly worked his way through the pack. 17th to 5th is a solid effort. Not a massive fan of Verstappen so if he can get up to pace quickly I could start cheering for Redbull again. Renault don't seem to be all that promising so while Danny Ric is my guy its tough to support them while they are playing dodgem cars mid pack..
