There were like 5 or 6 questions about language - what is each person's first language, what other languages spoken, what is main language spoken at home blah blah blah.

You have to answer each question for each person in the household, and there is no "opt out" of the question. What if one person has a disorder and can't speak?

For my 5 month old, I had to answer "what is the primary language spoken at home" and there were only three options - English, French or Other (fill in a blank if Other is checked).

So I said Other, and entered (baby babble) into the blank.

When one person suffers from a delusion, it is called insanity.

When many people suffer from a delusion, it is called religion.

I've been slogging through the long form. It's probably punishment for not doing it yesterday when it was due.

Lots of questions about cultural background, language, employment, etc.

Mine was fast too. We're not ethically diverse or proficient in languages, so it was easy to just check on English for the three of us.

Glad I didn't get the long form one, but I would have been OK with that since I was whining about the Conservatives getting rid of it during the election.
