2016 property assessments are out. My place in North Van is up almost 40% in one year.

I guess I can kiss the home owners grant goodbye :swearing:

ugh, will have to pay full amt this year.. wonder if I can write off my Canadian mortgage interest on my US Tax filing… no.

With those sort of assessment hikes,I wonder how many folks won't be able to pay their property taxes?

It doesn't equal rate hikes… That depends on your city's budget and your percentage of it.
