It's been awhile since I've heard the car horns down Yonge Street.

Leafs nation, can you handle this? I still can't believe they're this far. I'm not a fan of them, but it's good for the league if they do well.

This series would be so different if Sutherland was reffing.

No shit. So many non-calls in this one.

Oh, and damn. I really wanted to see boston go down in regulation. No love for T dot, but Boston are a dirty dirty bunch.

Genius idea to put Chara in front of the net to get that tying goal.

Seriously though, fuck the refs of the Jose/Nucks series for making it the usual run-of-the-mill January-style hockey shitfest.

Up 4-1 late in the 3rd. Wow that was a big league choke!

I saw at least a dozen "Western Conference cross checks in that series" and a few "Sedin Boarding" events as well. That series was actually pretty good to watch.

Trust me…all the fans I know of are currently whining like Seagulls being assraped.

Refs put the whistles away in the 2nd, which was pretty lame. Bruins got away with murder, but the Leafs just stopped trying to score with 10 minutes left. Prevent defense really doesn't work in hockey (or anything else outside of soccer really)

Didn't help that they couldn't win a faceoff to save their lives

Wow ! That collapse could only be described as spectacular.
The downtown core quickly filled up with the wandering, the confused and the depressed.

The Washington / Rangers game was worse. I tuned in with 11 to go in the 3rd - 5 -0 for NYR…the game was in Washington. It was creepy…the crowd was moaning…

^^^ I don't know about that, the local rags are talking about it as the biggust cullapse in the franchise's history.

I think it's Just what the team needs . . . instead of the local rags annually cumming over the fact that they made it this far (mounting a late run at the end of the season}.
As history has shown, the players feel pretty good going into the summer (living the life of millionaires} and historically shit the bed come next season, only to make a late charge once the pressure is off.
