GO CANUCKS! San Jose sucks… And for those of you hating on the recent record, they were 7-2-1 before the meaningless games. And don't hate on Lou for the team finally deciding to give up mid-way through the 3rd and start packing to head home… it meant nothing to anyone.

I am with you Tundra. I am bullish on the Canucks after watching the game against the Hawks. The season was plagued with injury and it wasn't until recently they started to heat it up. Getting Kesler back and Roy in the trade got things back on track.

I don't think anyone will be playing LA in the second round. I know we are just one game in but LA 2013 is not LA 2012 from what I have seen. If they are going to sweep anyone in the second round they are going to have to find that mojo.

I pretty much agree. The EA simulation has been pretty close in the past, but an LA sweep really doesn't seem plausible.

Nucks Ducks seems on paper to be a pretty close match-up IMO, so outcome could go either way. Mostly depends on which canucks team decides to play - the inspired, entertaining group that played against Chicago last monday, or the bunch that played Edmonton on Friday.

Admittedly, top lines were resting up (22 seconds ice time for Hank, Daniel MIA), but still, that was a stinker! One wonders whether they were giving the loilers the gift of closing the season with a home ice win just for the locals.
